Bright lights of New York City
The music was kicking, with so many girls ever so pretty

I couldn't believe my eyes and the beauty within my sight
So many people but my eyes saw you at a glance

I couldn't move and didn't know what to say
You were standing so close, not even ten feet away

I was so nervous and didn't know what to do
